What does it cost?
In 2013, a regular-sized share costs $440, or $22 per week for 20 weeks. One regular share should be enough food for two adults and two or three children, or two good vegetable eating adults.
To help people who live alone and just don't eat that much in a week, we're going to offer a smaller share in 2013, called a "single" share. We hope to make it the right amount for just one person for just one week. The single share costs $270 for the 20 week season.
The 2013 season will begin as soon as possible in June, likely the week of June 3. The last pickup of the season will be 20 weeks later, probably Saturday, October 19.
There is also an out-of-town-half-the-summer regular size share option for families who will be traveling over the summer . The half-season shares are $260. Since most of the garden's production is concentrated in the fall, these shares cost slightly more than half of the full season price. The half-season shares will begin the week of August 12/15 and go until October 19.
